Care & Use

Cook better. Keep it beautiful.

A few simple habits keep your Cooklico titanium performing like new for years. Here's everything you need to know, from the first wash to everyday cleaning.

01 · Titanium cookware

Five steps to effortless cooking

Titanium doesn't rely on a chemical coating, so great results come from a little technique. Master these five steps and food will release cleanly every time.

How to get the best non-stick results with your Cooklico titanium pan
  1. 1

Wash and dry before first use

Give your new pan a wash in warm, soapy water and dry it completely. That clears any residue from manufacturing and packing.

  2. 2

    Preheat gently

Warm the empty pan on low to medium heat for 60–90 seconds. Titanium heats quickly, so high heat is never needed.

  3. 3

    Add a little oil

Once the pan is warm, add 1–2 teaspoons of oil or butter and swirl it around to coat the surface.

  4. 4

    Then add your food

Wait for the oil to shimmer before adding eggs, fish or meat. Leave it alone until it lifts away naturally, then flip.

  5. 5

    Cook on medium, clean gently

Keep the heat moderate and avoid overcrowding the pan. Let it cool before washing with a soft sponge.

Do's & don'ts

The simple habits that make the biggest difference.

Do

  • Preheat for 60–90 seconds before adding oil
  • Cook on low to medium heat, which is plenty for titanium
  • Use a small amount of oil or butter, especially for eggs and fish
  • Let the pan cool down before washing it
  • Dry the pan fully before storing

Don't

  • Turn the burner to high, the most common cause of sticking
  • Add oil to a cold pan, or cold food straight from the fridge
  • Plunge a hot pan into cold water
  • Use harsh bleach or oven cleaners on the surface
  • Leave the pan empty on a hot burner for long periods
If food sticks to your Cooklico titanium pan, try these fixes

If food sticks, try this

Five quick fixes that solve almost every sticking problem.

01

Pan too cold

Give it a full 60–90 seconds of preheating before any oil goes in.

02

Heat too high

Turn it down. Low to medium heat gives the best release.

03

Oil too soon or too little

Warm the pan first, then add a small amount of oil or butter.

04

Flipped too early

Let eggs, fish or meat cook until they release on their own.

05

Residue building up

Soak in warm water, then clean with a soft sponge to reset the surface.

Colour changes are normal

With heat and time, titanium naturally develops warm tones. It's cosmetic, never a defect.

New

Bright, clean silver straight out of the box.

Golden

Soft gold hues appear after regular cooking.

Bronze

Deeper warm tones where the heat is strongest.

Rainbow tint

A blue-purple sheen after higher heat.

Colour changes don't affect cooking performance or food safety. A baking soda paste will soften them if you prefer the original silver.

Cleaning, step by step

Always let the pan cool first. Titanium cleans up quickly with gentle care.

01

Everyday rinse

Once the pan has cooled, wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Most meals wipe away in seconds.

02

Soak stuck-on food

Fill with warm water and a drop of dish soap for 10–15 minutes, then wipe clean.

03

Baking soda paste

For heat marks or stubborn residue, rub in a paste of baking soda and water, then rinse.

04

Dry and store

Towel-dry straight away to avoid water spots, then store in a dry cupboard.

02 · Cutting board

Getting the most from your board

Your titanium cutting board is solid, hygienic and built to last. These tips keep it hygienic, stable and kind to your knives.

Titanium Cutting Board - Cooklico
  1. 1

Set it on a flat surface

Place the board on a dry, flat counter. A damp towel underneath keeps it perfectly still.

  2. 2

    Let the knife glide

Titanium is harder than wood, so use smooth slicing strokes rather than chopping down hard, and hone your knife regularly.

  3. 3

    Prep anything

Raw meat, fish, citrus, herbs, onions and garlic. The solid titanium surface won't soak up juices or smells.

  4. 4

    Rinse between foods

Moving from raw meat to vegetables? A quick wash with warm soapy water is all it needs.

Do's & don'ts

The simple habits that make the biggest difference.

Do

  • Slice with smooth, gliding strokes
  • Wash with warm soapy water after each use
  • Dry it upright or with a towel
  • Use it for raw meat, fish, fruit and vegetables alike

Don't

  • Hammer, pound or drop heavy objects on the board
  • Use it as a trivet for hot pans straight from the stove
  • Scrub with steel wool or harsh abrasive powders
  • Use it with serrated or cleaver-style chopping

Cleaning, step by step

No oiling, no sanding, no special treatment. Just rinse and dry.

01

Quick rinse

Warm water and a drop of soap is enough after most prep.

02

Strong smells

After fish, garlic or onions, scrub with a paste of baking soda and water, then rinse.

03

Dry and store

Wipe dry and stand it upright or lay it flat. No oiling or special treatment needed.

Care & use FAQ

Why is food sticking to my titanium pan?

Almost always it comes down to heat and timing: the pan wasn't preheated long enough, the heat was too high, or the food was flipped before it released. Follow the five steps above and it gets easier within a few meals.

My pan has changed colour. Is it damaged?

No. Golden, bronze or rainbow tints are a natural reaction to heat and are purely cosmetic. They don't affect performance or food safety. A baking soda paste will soften them if you prefer the original look.

Can I use cooking spray?

We recommend a small amount of oil or butter instead. Some cooking sprays leave a sticky film that builds up over time and makes food more likely to stick.

What heat setting should I use?

Low to medium for almost everything. Titanium heats quickly and evenly, so high heat isn't needed, even for searing.

Can I use metal utensils?

Yes. There's no coating to scratch or peel. Wooden and silicone utensils are also perfectly fine.

Will the cutting board show marks?

Fine lines from knives can appear with regular use. They're cosmetic surface marks, not cracks, and because nothing soaks into solid titanium they don't trap food or bacteria.

Does following this guide matter for returns?

Yes. As outlined in our Return & Refund Policy, following these care instructions helps us resolve any concern quickly. If you're unsure about anything, just email us.
